Activated Alumina is a mid power media best at sponging up water, condensable and vapors. Activated Alumina is good in applications operating at lower pressures and at temperatures below 100 F. It is highly durable and resistant to liquid cracking and so it is preferred for use as a water buffer. Warning: Activated Alumina may cause irritation to eyes and uppers respiratory tract due to dust exposure.
Desiccant Blend designed as an economy product, has carefully blended Molecular Sieves with Silica Gel desiccant. This result is a media that is excellent at adsorbing water condensable, droplets and water vapors at an economical cost. Characteristically tolerant of liquid water, temperature variables and some types of surface poisoning. Use at temperatures below 100 F.
